RECOILING ON LABOUR
(Received 16th May, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. , The clauses relating to defamation and sedition in the Law Reform. Bill, now before the New South Wailes Assembly, are likely to be jettisoned or greatly modified by the.State Labour ; Caucus, which has referred them to a 1 special committee for report. It is pointed out that Nthese provisions may recoil upon members of the* Labour Party in the eventof the anti- '■' Labour party obtaining office, when freedom of speech has become a thing of the past.
