(Received.l6th May-, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The City Council was fined £32,'j 16s ■id by the Commissioner of Taxation for late payment of the tax under the Family Endowmenb Act.
The Deputy-Town Clerk states that none of the -previous accounts -were paid on or before due date, and. no demand was previously made by the Commissioner for payment of a fine.
