pAIR^FA^MERS' PETITION A petition rto ■Parliament is in circulation among dairy companies, as re?presentatives .of"dairy, farmers, urging tho rembval: of duties "on wheat and stock fobds, oh tho.following grounds: "(V) That by virtue of tho various statutes .[imposing Customs duties, import duties,, more""ob less heavy, have Ijceu placed and are payable, on a\l classes of stock foods and wheat imported into the Dominion. . "(2.) That imported stock : loods and wheat are largely used by farmers throughout New Zealand, and that .by reason1 of the continued low prices of farm pro'duee generally your petitioners are finding it increasingly difficult to carry on. their, farming, operations successfully.-;.' -...
