CLEARANCE ■IN LONDON
■(.Received 19th March,. 12.40 p.m.) LONDON, 18th March. Offerings at the wool sales to-day were 11,736 bales, including 4195 New Zealand. Practically all were sold.' TKcrc was but a small selection of merinos, but a large offering of greasy crossbreds and a moderate supply of scoureds and slipes. Business was excellent with more general competition and prices were firm at the full late rates, and occasionally in sellers' favour. Realisations were as follows:—New Zealand greasy crossbreds, ''Alohakatino," lOd to 9%d; "Mangaruhc," 10% dto 9-% d; "Ashcott," OVich "Huiarau," 10% cl t to 10d; merinos, "Bank House," 12% dto 12dl
