RUMANIAN VILLAGERS
(Eeceived 19th February, 10 aarf.) BUCHAREST, 18th February. A Magistrate and priest of the village of PaTamurai were driving a sled when a pack of wolvos forced from tho mountains by severe weather, followed the trail.' Tho men drove off the first attack, shooting two wolves. The pack then fled, b'-t the Magistrate and priest left the sled to secure the wolves' carcasses, leaving their rifles behind. Tho frightened horses bolted, and the wolves returned. A rescue party found the men's skeletons.
