PERSONAL NOTES
Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Ward, Heretaunga, who, have been visiting England, are returning to New Zealand by tho Bangitaue, which left Southampton on Saturday last. Dr. Ada Paterson lias returned to Wellington after a visit to Mavlborough. Mr. and Mrs. Pat Ward will arrive in Auckland to-morrow by tho Kangitata from England. Mrs. J. J. Webster, Karori, who has boen the guest of Mrs. Percy Cox, Christchurcb, has returned to Wellington. Mrs. E. "V. Palmer and her daughter, Mrs. Davies, who arrived in Wellington by tho Uliinaroa this week, have loffc for Ckristchurch, where they will stay with the Misses Taburt. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Stott, Dunediu, are- the guests of Mr. and Mrs. llovvard Eoid, Clifton terrace. Mr.: and Mrs. Douglas Mill, Auckland, flew by aeroplane to Wellington yestorday, and left this morning by 'plane for Christchurch, where they will visit Mrs.. Mill's sister, Mrs. Deans. Miss Mona Nicol, Pieton, is paying a\ visit to Wellington. Miss Joyce Robertson, Lyall Bay, Who has spent several weeks in Duneclin and Christcburch, is now at Akaroa.' She will stay with relatives there for some time before returning to Wellington. Mrs. H. Nicholson, Otaki, is a visitor to Wellington. Miss F. Pinder, Wellington, is visiting Christchureh, and later will go to Mt. Cook. Mrs. W. P. Black and Mrs. A. C. Tucker are Wellington visitors to Auckland. ; Mrs. C. Tringham and Mrs. DiggefsSmith, Wellington, loft last night for Auckland. They were accompanied by Mrs. Tringham's daughter, Mrs. Joel Hudson, who. will return to Sydney by the Maunganui, r leaving Auckland tomorrow.
