COMMON GAMING HOUSE
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PAHIATUA, This Day. Joshua Joseph Swiggs was to-day fined £50 for keeping a common gaming-house at his residence for the purpose ot bookmaking. Mrs. E. M. Bellshaw was fined £15 for using a shop as n gaming-house. CHRISTCHUBCH, This Day. Leonard Smith was fined £50 in the Magistrate's Court to-day for keeping n common gaming-house. The police said that he was in a fairly big way.
