GIFT OF CIGARETTES
The Mayor of Petone, Mr. D. M'Kenzie, has been informed by Messrs. W. D. and H. O. Wills (N.Z.), Ltd., that, in addition to the firm's donation of £.1000 to the earthquake relief fund it is making 37,500 cigarettes available. They will be paid for from the fund which was to have provided tho usual free picnic for tho firm's employees. Arrangements have boon made by the Mayor for the cigarettes to be distributed by the T.M.C.A.and the Salvatipn Army.
