UNFAIR PACKING OF VEGETABLES
Packing ' large vegetables on the top, medium in the centre, and small and inferior cues in the bottom of sacks, proved very costly for two Chinamen who were fined £10 each by Mr. E. Page, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday on charges of unfair packing of vegetables. The defendants ■ were Kwok On Lee and Young Way Kee. Mr. J. Inwood, firait inspector, said that in the case of Lee, t'ouv large cauliflowers were found on the top of the sack, followed by medium ones in the middle, and small and inferior ones on the bottom. It was considered a bad case. The facts in the case of Young Way Kee were similar to that of Lee's.
Both defendants had been . previously warned for unfair packing. .
