JAPAN AND NAVAL PACT
ADMIRAL TAKARABE RESIGNS
TOKIO, 3rd October
Immediately following the Imperial ratification of the Naval Pact, the Naval Minister, Admiral Takarabe, visited the Premier, presenting ' his resignation, thus confirming the previous general understanding that the navalists, following Admiral Kato, only consented to withdraw their opposition to the Treaty conditionally on the Minister's resignation. ■■'-'~.
