CREDIT BY FRAUD
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) STEATFOBD, This Day. Alex J. Dowling and Allan E. Pearee were admitted' at the Magistrate's Court this morning, -to twelve months' probation oil three charges of obtaining credit by fraud and one of converting a motor-ear to their own iise. They" met at Te Kuiti. Pearee was engaged in repairing typewriters. They travelled to Marton, and then to Wartgamii, where, they left a hotel without paying their board. They also left Hawera without paying their board, and took a civ which was left :it E!tliani. They wero arrested in Strtitford on' Saturday while staying at a leading hotel. . Dowliug, a married wan, said that lie had rent £4'per weok to his wife all tho time ho was away from home.
