CONTROL BY CLOCKWORK
Dotted Fren Association—Bj Cltctrle > f*lt» irapb— Copyright (Received 3 4th April, 11 a.m.) LONDON, 13th April. Developing out of ltobot flying devices, there is secretly .evolving a new war horror consisting of a giant armoured aeroplane functioning without a crew or engine, and the courso of which is controlled by "a" "clockwork brain. The Hull is a mere receptacle for bombs. The machine will resemble an. enormous flying torpedo. The mechanical brain is located in an armoured container in the middle of the hull in. which gyroscopes' establish electrical contacts immediately the machine inclines to deviate from the course.
Clockwork, set beforehand, stops the engine after the predetermined distance has been covered and causes the bomb-laden aeroplane to crash down on the city marked out for destruction.
