POPPY DAY
The secretary of the Wellington Keturnod Soldiers' Association, Major Watson, states that arrangements aro well in train for the Peppy Day appeal next Thursday. Some thousands of artificial poppies have been insde, and the allocation of street stands has been completed, although more lady helpers are still required. The funds will be devoted to the relief of. ex-soldier unemployed during the coming winter.
