NAVAL RESERVISTS
USEFUL TRAINING WORK
The minesweeper' Wakakura which returned yesterday with Itr. uientbers and 2 officers of'tho Naval Eeserve, who have been undergoing training at sea, sailed at 1 p.m. to-day for the Marlborough Sounds with a similar number of Reservists'.
Lieutenant Edwards, K.N., who is in command of the Wakakura, states today that the cruise just completed had been most enjoyable and instructive. Training had been given in, all phases of seamanship, including mine-sweep-ingl, boat-pulling, and 4in gun work. Twenty rounds of lin aiming practice per man had been fired. The Wakakura called at Piction, and cruised" round many of the baj-s and inlets, where some excellent fishing was to be had in the evenings.
