THE ALLIANCE OF LABOUR INCONSISTENT ATTITUDE (By Telegraph.—Press Association^ AUCKLAND, This Day. "The Alliance of Labour does not represent twenty per cent, of the unions in the Dominion," said a prominent Auckland Labour representative today. It was, therefore, not in a position to express an opinion for the industrial movement in the Dominion. Comment was passed on the Alliance's attitude toward the compensation inquiry. The opinion was expressed that it was inconsistent of the Alliance to protest against Mr. Blood-, worth's appointment when the Alliance's secretary and a member of' tho Auckland Watersiders' Union were ap-l pointed to the Unemployment Commitll tec without any reference to tho Labour movement, or cyen their affiliation.
