The picture opens to-night at tlio Kllbirulc Klnema, In addition to a farcical comedy-drama. Bcatrlco Van, author of "Modern Love," doclarcs that her story was not Intended to solvo tho problem of modern marriages on a flfty-flfty basis. Tho plan Is being used successfully In many cases, but it occurred to tho author that tho themo might successfully be used for a comedy, and she proved it by writing "Modern Love."
