LONDON, 13th September. Playing at Folkestone, the Best of England, defeated the M.C.C. team which toured Australia by an innings and 103 runs. Scores:—The Best, 543; M.C.C. tourists, 27S (Geary 66) and 162 (Hendrenß4). At Scarborough, Yorkshire defeated an M.C.C. eleven by four wickets Scores:—Yorkshire, 355 and 102 for six Haig four wickets for 49. M.C.C, 176 and 280 for six declared (Duleepsinhii 67 not out).
