Local brokers held their customary hide and skin eales yesterday. There was a very, gpod attendance of buyers. Sheepskins showed little variation . from last sales prices, but salted skins were 3d to 6d-down. .Hides sold well; light ox and cow sold at par, with last sale's kips %d -Eigher.- Tallow, firm, The range of prices was 'as- follows:—Dry sheepskins: Halfbred, 12d to WM: fine crossbred, ll%d to 13& d; medium crossbred, 10% d -to 12d; coarse, crossbred,' B%d to lid; half wools, 7%d .to. lid; quarter wools, 7?id to K'U'dr pelts'., B%a.V iOd. Salted skins: Half wools, 7a 6d to 7s 7d; three quarter wools; 7s 6d to 9s 3d; full wools, 9s 6d to 10s'7d; extra large, 11s; lambs, 3s 9d to 6s. Hides: Ox, 33. to. 441b, 6%d to 7y 8 d; ox, 45 to 521b, 7%d'to 7%d;:ox, 53 to 591b; 6%d to 7%d; ox, 60 to-691b, 7%d to:8%d; ox, 701b and over, 7&d to B%d; cow, 33 to 391b, G*td to 7%d; cow, 40 to 481b, 6%d to 7%d; cow, 491b and over, 6'Ad to 7%d;-kip, 25 to 321b, id to Sd; l<ip, 17 to 211b, Od to 9%d; yearling, 11 to 161b, B%d to 10%d:.culf. 9 to 101b, 9d to 10% d; calf, 6 to 81b, 12d to I4d; calf, 1 to 51b, lOd to 13>4d.
