COUNCILLOR RESIGNS

PALMERSTON N., This Day. Stating that he absolutely declined to sit with the council as at present constituted, Mr. Milverton to-day resigned his seat on tho Borough Council, to which he was elected two years ago and re-elcctnd on AVednesday. Mr. Milverton has ben a critic of the council over since his election.
