COUNCIL'S FINAL MKKTINC

Satisfaction with the result oi the past year s activities was expressed by the chairman (Mr. E. Windley) at the final meeting of the Makara Cuiuity Council yesterday morning. The past term, said Mr. Windley, had been ,i very pleasant one. They had had many differences, but not serious ones, lie could honestly say that every member ot the council had done his best. To him it had been a great source of pleasure to preside over the meetings and to work under such pleasant conditions.
