STATUE TO HAIG
PROPOSAL IN FRANCE PUBLIC SUBSCRIPTION Australian Press Association-United Serrlce. (Received 4th May, 11 a.m.) PARIS, 3rd May. M. Pomcarc has given support to the proposal to erect a statuo to FieldMarshal Earl Haig of Montreuil. Subscriptions have been opened and a sculptor commissioned. The statue will probably be unveiled in 1930 at a big Anglo-French demonstration.
