That Mr. E. J. Carroli is directing the tour of Sir Harry Lauder and his new company of international stars guarantees that a first-class entertainment will be presented at the (Jrand Opera House, in Wellington, comof six nights. Many difficulties had to be overcome before this tour could be arranged, but all is now complete In every detail, and Sir Harry has been hard at work putting the mnslnng touches on many new song numbers and character sketches which will lie presented for the ttrst time during the Dominion tour. In Edition to :hese new itqnis so nany request-, arc being received for some of the old ravourites that every effort will he made to include in all Sir Harry's programmes such as are judged highest in popular favour. Adequate support will be given by a coterie of international artists, who will present acts new and of diversified nature, including' a novel art presented by "Tiki" Carpenter, who comes direct from a London season ; Miss Beryl Wentworth is a singer who specialises in catchy chorus songs; Kupcrt Hazel and Elsie Dinarc a harmony and laughter duo; the Fred'o Uros. present an unusual and thrilling comedy acrobatic act in the course of which their violin playing is a feature; a cartoonist and lisl.tning sketch artist from Ihc leading Kuropean variety theatres. Don Julian, presents a most novel and entertaining interlude. The musical conductor is Haydn Beck, with a specially sclcctc.l orchestra. The. box plans open at the Bristol Piano Company on Wednesday, 13th May.
