An enjoyable ontortainment took place recently when several of Wellington's well-known artists assisted in helping the Presbyterian Church choir, Lower Hutt, to augment their funds. The Misses B. Owen, E. Campbell, and C. Conlon, and Messrs. T. Forrester, Brand, and Fordie gave a splendid programme. Miss Ngairc Greene, Mr. Lawrence, Searle, and A. Harboi'd greatly amused the audience with their character work and humorous recitations. The choir's contributions during the evening were greatly appreciated. At the close of the concert tho AVellington artists were presented with bouquets. Miss C. Conlon, A.T.C.L., was acconyiauiwt.
