PETONE DISTRICT NURSE
The need for a district nurso for the sick of Petone has been stressed for a long time, and many will be gratified to know that a strong committee has been set up to forward this object. The Hospital Board is to subsidise the amount collected, and the Borough Council has agreed to assist also. It has been arranged to hold a big street collection day at an early date, and donations and promises are already coming in well. The Rev. J. A. Locliore, Petonc's representative on the Hospitul Board, is chairman of the committee, Mr. W. B. (lough lion, secretary, and Mrs. G. Cook lion, treasurer. Any donations or offers of help for collecting will be gratefully welcomed.
