EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS ENVOY'S ENTHUSIASM United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Australian Press Association. (Recoived 17th November, 11 a.m.) ROM.., 16th November. The Pope gave an audience to Caceia Dominion, who has just returned from Australia. Monsignor Dominion glowingly described tho stirring and impressive scenes in connection with the Eucharistic Congress in Sydney. Ho declared that lie had never seen a more beautiful ecclesiastical pageant than that which Cardinal Ceretti led to tho St. Mary's Cathedral, which he de scribed as the religious and artistic glory of Australia. Half a million crammed Hyde Park and the adjacent streets. It was an extraordinary spectacle of piety and zeal on the part of tho clergy, and most edifying, while kneeling women wept with emotion. Catholic and Protestant alike felt that they owned one God, and prostrated themselves in allegiance. The Pope expressed his deepest satisfaction, and said that his beloved Australian children had given him one of tho greatest joys of the year.
