At the monthly meeting of the Island Bay Municipal Electors' Association on. Friday it was decided that the secretary write'to the councij expressing the thanks of the association for proceeding with the forming of the footpath on the west side of the Parade. The footpath has been in a very bad state for a number of years, and last year the Mayor promised the association that the work would bo proceeded with as soon as the loan inoney\then being raisod was inhand.
