MORNINGTOH CLUB ' The medal competiiton for. Mr. J; Ti '" Bowness's trophy, played during the week- >"" end, resulted in.a tie between D Halley, -■ 90-20—70, and E. Edwards, 88-18—70. The ' ' next best cards handed in were: L. Fitt, 91-20—71; F. E. Stubberfield, 85-13—72; L. J. Evans, 90-18—72; M. L. Bird,- 82-10—72. ■ During the week-end Mr. R. M'Rae holed his tee shot at the eleventh hole, an " iron shot of 177 yards. This performance was almost equalled a few minutes, later by M. Bird, who sliced his tee shot on to another competitor's head, the ball finishing about two inches from the hole from the resulting bounce. ; ■ The following teams ;will represent the Mornjngton Golf .Club v.
