MOTOR-CYCLE IN COLLISION

Two young men were injured when the motor-cycle they were riding came into collision with a motor-car at Silverstream late yesterday afternoon. C. H. Belcher, a clerk, residing at No. 27, Everton terrace, was driving the motorcycle towards'the city, with J. F. Redmond, a clerk, .residing at the, same place as Belcher, riding pillion behind him. At the junction of .the main road and tho road leading from it to Whiteman 's Valley, the motor-cycle collided with a motor-car travelling in the opposite^ direction, and the motor-cycle was jammed under the front of .the car. , Belcher was found to have received a fracture of the right leg, and Redmond a fracture of the right arm, while both men were suffering from shock. A medical man who happened to be passing at the time gave assistance, and the City Ambulance, which had been called, took,the two injuredi.men to the Wellington Hospital. ■ This morning both men were reported to be in a satisfactory condition. ■
