HUTT AND WELLINGTON.
IlnLt made their first appearance this season when they met Wellington on their own ground and secured a good win. In Hie first half the local men were well to tiio fore, and Lusty netted twice without the visitors opening theirl score. Ilutt had only four of last year's players on the field, the remainder of the team being junior men promoted to the higher grade. The team worked well together, however, and made a very good showing. In the second spell Wellington made an effort, and interest centred chiefly around the Ilutt goal. Lusty netted again for the local team, and in a finul effort Wellington opened their tally through the efforts of Joblin. They failed to add to this, however, and the final score vend 3 goals to 1 in favour of Hutt. Mr. I!. Lloyd was the referee.
