TAMAROA FROM HOME.
The S.S. and A. liner Tamaroa arrived in the stream at Wellington late last night from London and Southampton, and was berthed at half-past 10 tills morning at Plpltea Wharf. She sailed from Southampton on the '10th. Marcli, and fine weather was encountered throughout the trip until about four days ago, when adverse weather was encountered. She arrived at Panama on the 14th'April, and sailed again the next day for Pitcairn Island, where a short stay was made Captain W. H. Hartman retains command of theTamaroa, with the following officers: Chief officer, Mr. \Y. Dtuvson; chief engineer, Mr. J. F. M'lntosh; purser, Mr. A. S. Cauty; surgeon. Dr. JW. J. Bulger. The Tamaroa brought the following passengers:—First class: For Wellington: Dr. R. Brcwster, Mrs. Brewster, Mr. C. CampbollHeatd, Mrs. Campbell-Heard, Miss I. Jtassall, Mr. H. Jackson, Mrs. K. Palmer, Captain F. Voelcker, Mrs. Voelcker, Miss J. Voeleker. For Auckland:, Mrs. K. Clarlt, lieut. A. Cresswell, R.N., Mrs. Cresswell, Lieut.-Commander H. Norman, R.N., Jtjts. Norman, Miss SI. Norman, Master D. Norman. Miss D. Norman, Sirs. H. Pryce, Master D. Vryce. Miss L. Rowc. For Melbourne: Miss W. Lewellin, Mrs. M. Richardson; and 210 third class.
