LATE SPORTING
_ «. . A TROTTING INQUIRY (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. At the Ncav Brighton Trotting Club's Alceting in March, Free Advice finished first and Baron Bingen second in the Eclipse Handicap. An inquiry was held after the race into a complaint for interference, and the judge's placings Avero reversed, Baron Bingen being placed first and Free AdA-ico second. Messrs. Al'Kendrick Brothers, of Auckland, owners of Free Advice, appealed against tho decision to the Trotting' Association, which referred the case back to the club. The committee of the Neiv Brighton Trotting Club will hold an inquiry into tho case on Thursday.
