FRANKLIN BY-ELECTION
The by-election, to fill the vacancy in tne Franklin electorate, caused by the death of Mr. Mussey,' will take place on Wednesday week, 17th June. In 1922. 8194 people were registered in Franklin^ and 7190 actually cast thair votes. Ou the main roll.for the coming by-election, compiled under the compulsory provisions of the electoral law as "amended last session, there are 9753 names.'and it is expected that about 300 additional enrolments will be completed on the supplementary list. '
