LONDON, 7th June.
The fust mobile low-power amateur wireless transmitting station, capable of communicating over thousands of miles, was tested to-day, and telegraphic communication with the United States was established. A wave-length of 45 metres was used. Attempts were also' made to communicate with New Zealand and Australia,' but 'the results of these are not yet known. The experiment was carried out.in a field in a suburb of London.
