Leon de Mauny and Harold Whittle, on Saturday evening, the programme beins: selenterl" mainly from the -writings of Beethoven and Mozart. Signor Cesaroni prefaced the recital by briefly referring to tho ideals of l-ho two great com povers and to the characteristics which mavk their works. Beethoven, lie said, did not write a great deal for the voice, but what he did write bore tho impress of genius. . Signor Cesaroni's numbers included. "In Questa Tomba," "Love oV Our Neighbours." "The Praise of God," '|Qui Sdeguo." "Belmonte c Constanza." "Oh, These Dandies."
"Madiamina." a-nd. "The Driukij'n; Seng" from "The Magic I'^lulo." Mr. de Mauny (violiji) and My. Wliiltlo (j)ianofnrtc) played 13cethoTeTi's '"lloinanco in I 1'" and the familial- "Minuet," Mozart's
"Sonata in B Flat" and a Mozart •'Minuet." Mr. Whittle, phiyed as a pianoforte solo "11 Seraglio."
