SHORTT'S THEATRE.
A good deal of the "dirty work" in "Jacqueline" or "Blazing Barriers," screened for . the .first time at ;Shortt's Theatre yesterday, is done by Charlie Fang, who, in tho role of Li Chang, paints as polished, a portrait of villainy as the screen has known ma very long while. Mr. Fang has worked hard. and assiduously to perfect liimself in the art of the cinema, until, to-day his presence in any cast has come to.be accepted as a guarantee of excellence. His work in "Jacqueline" won the highest praise from Director Dell Henderson, who has always been an ardent admirer of the little yellow man's artistry. The supports are excellent in variety and good in quality.; '.. '...-'
