CHILDREN'S FANCY DRESS BALL.
A children's ball is -advertised for Friday, 17th October, in St.. Francis's Hall. Prizes will be given for the best fancy costumes, the most original, . and for the best pair in the grand march. Valuable trophies are also offering for the best pair in a fox trot competition, which will be judged by a. competent judge of dancing. Good ;.music, refreshments, flood lights, and a fine spring floor will combine to make .the evening a very happy One for the children. '
