Phillips, a New Zealander, .spoaking at a conference of the National Unionist Association at Newcastle-on-Tyne concerning the association's Empire development branch, said that a while ago it was suggested that he should .assemble a band of Dominion workers to spread knowledge of the Empire throughout the electorate. He had been most successful throughout the country. He had been spoaking at street corners, and he now invited the local essociations to ask for ..Dominion speakers and lecturers.
Dame Bridgeman said Wembley had given the campaign a tremendous impetus.
