Robert Warden appeared in Court this morning charged with assaulting ah officer of the Lyttelton Gaol on Sunday and attempting to escape. He pleaded guilty to both charges. The, Magistrate ordered the prison^ to be fed on bread and water for fourteen ;days on.each charge and forfeit conduct points equivalent to a yew's of sentence. On leaving the Court, Warden said, it was his third attempt to escape, but would not be hie last. : ■ ,-
