SHORTT'S THEATRE
"The Temple of Dusk," with Sessue Hayakawa in the lead, is the feature at Shortt's. Theatre. As the pdetic Akra, Hayakawa. is seen, not as the stoical, calm Japanese, but as an embodiment of human emotions, ranging from the pathetic and bizarre imitations of the monkey, to amuse his little. playfellow, Blossom, to the broken-hearted martyr, tears streaming down his cheeks. The supports are interesting.
