BRITAIN'S FOOD POLICY
DIRECTOR-GENERAL RESIGNS IN PROTEST. (AUSTRALIAN-BBW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) s (Received July 24, 1 p.jn.) , LONDON, 23rd July. Lord Lee (Director-General of Food Production) has resigned. He says he is not sufficiently convinced of the defeat of the:submarine peril or of the security of the food supplies to acquiesce in the reversal of the food policy which the Cabinet has sanctioned.
