ALTERATION IN PATEENA'S RUNNING.
An alteration in the Pateena's running Is announced. On Mondays and Fridays the Patecna will leave Wellington at 1.30 p.m. for Pioton and Nelson, leaving Nelson early on Tuesday for PiTrton and Wellington. On Wednesdays she will leave Wellington at 1.30 p.m. lor Picton only. On the return trip the vessel will leave Picton at 1.30 p.m. for Wellington. The public is requested to take particnlar note of the fact that on Wednesday the Pateenn's sailing is Xor Picton only, as it is feared that p.-isirengers who have so long been used to the vessel continuing on to Nelson on Wednesdays might otherwise find out the alteration only on arrival at tUe ship's side, ami the company is anxious to avoid any inconvenience to the public
