SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
A pleasant concert was arranged for seafarers at the Sailors' Friend Society by the Misses Nicholas. There was a large audience.. Many, "encores ...were demanded by the men. The performers were Mrs. Bnrd, the Misses Troupe, l''aulkner, Frain, . Burt; Worboys, Nicholas, and Messrs. TheoHillsr Deal, and Clarke. Mrs. . Burd and Miss Nicholas' were at the piano. Mr. Moore, missioner, who was in the chair, spoke on the temperance question, and pledges followed. Again the competitions were productive of much enjoyment.
