MAJOR ROOSEVELT
SON OF EX-PRESIDENT WOUNDED,
NEW YORK, 20th July. The United Press Agency's Paris correspondent states ! that Major Theodore Roosevelt, junr., has been wounded in action, and taken to the hospital. Hia wounds are not serious.
PRESIDENT WILSON'S SYMPATHY

WASHINGTON, 21st July. Following the confirmation of the death of Flight-Lieutenaht Quentin Roosevelt, President Wilson telegraphed to Mr. Roosevelt: "I am greatly distressed by the news of your son's death. He diedserving his country with fine gallantry." Hundreds of telegrams and! letters of sympathy, were received by the Roosevelt family at Oyster Bay.
[Major Theodore Roosevelt is the eldest son of Mr. Theodore Roosevelt. Flight-Lieutenant Quentin Roosevelt was killed last week in France, after;being about six weeks on active service.
