GREAT FIRE AT ROTTWEIL
LONDON, 23rd. July
The Air Ministry reports: We dropped one ton of bombs on the railway sidings at'Lunes, and attacked the Badisch© aniline factory, where many good bursts were observed. A large explosion was caused in a factory south-east of Zwiebrucke. We bombed three aerodromes. Our low fliers hit five trains, and bombed and machine-gunned searchlights and antiaircraft guns. All the machines retnrned. On Monday we attacked an important powder factory at Rottweil, and hit a big shed, with the result that several others blew up. The fire; could be seen for sixty miles.
