Count Fosco is almost a household word for tho imperturbable type of cultured evil-doer, and his appearance on the screen in "The Woman in White," from the , novel by Wilkie Collins, is quite an event. Florence La Badie, in the dual roles' of Laura, and Ann, achieves a difficult task with effectiveness. ■
