A WORKER'S DEATH
In the Supreme Cfeari, Mr. Justice Hosking heard legal argument in connection with the case of Amelia Haywood v. the Union Steam Ship Company, Ltd., a claim for £2000 damages for the death of plaintiff's husband, a waterside worker, while employed on one of the company's boats. The'case was tried on 24th May last, when the jury awarded the plaintiff £1250/ His Honour to-day entered, judgment for that amount. Mr. P. J.O'Regan appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr. Levi for defendant. .
