REPRESENTATIVE MATCH

' To-morrow; the main attraction at Athletic Park ■will- be a representative match between Wellington and'Wairarapa., As no Rugby- matches are being .played,. on any other city ground, this game should 1; attract a largo number of people to the Park. Both teams are described as strong, and a good contest (provided weather conditions are favourable), should be the result. Following is the personnel of the local team:—Fullback, Morton (University); threequarters, Corner (Petone), Jackson (University), j Aitken , (University); >—fiveeighths, Pouter (Old Boys) and Coles (Petone); half, Nicholls (Petone); wing forward, Hislop (Old Boys); pack, Scott (Old Boys), Pole (Petone), Caddick (Oriental), B6nd (Petone), Black (Poneke), Baker (Poneke), Desmond (Poneke). Emergencies: Thomas (Petone), Hanson (Old Boys), Sherrick (Poneke), Slater. (Poneke), Poulter (Oriental), Bowers (Poneke). Mr. H. Paton -will referee. Prior to the big maitch a representative schools' game between teams from the same districts and a soldiers' game will also'be played." These will commence at 1.30 o'clo^Jc, while tie other match will' Start at 3 o'clock. ','• INTER-OOLLEGIATE 'IuURNEY. ' The; Wellington College football team playing in the inter-collegiate matches at Ohristchiurch went South last evening, and were given a good send-off by their fellow-students and friends. The team, which is in charge of Mr. Brodie, is as follows:—Full-back, Thompson; : threequarters, Davidson, Scott, Nicol; fiveeighths, Ward and Nicholls; half, Pope; forwards, Toxward, Vial, Sutherland, M'Kegg, Emerson, Caselberg, Togood; wing forward, Donald (captain).
