Official: The raiders dropped bombs on Dover, Margate, and Ranssgate. Eleven people were killed and thirteen injured at Dover and Ramsgate, while a number of houses and a hospital were damaged. One of the enemy's pilots was rescued, injured.
LONDON, 23rd August.
When' the raiders were approaching Margate, at a great altitude, the British aircraft guns opened fire upon them. Two fell headlong. An incessahfc battle in the air continued for half-an-hour. ,' •
