PLEASURE WITH PROFIT.

RESIDENTIAL ADVANTAGES,

ON NORTH AUCKLAND LAND,

- Residential advantages are so much a matter of opinion that to give any idea of value illustrations are necessary. .

We should recommend anyone thinking of going North either for residential, fruit-growing, or general farming purposes, to procure a copy of the book "The Fruit Lands of the North," issued by the Komiti Development Co. The illustrations are above the average, and give an exceli lent idea of the charming patches of bush, stretches of sandy beach,'exquisite land-locked waterways, which make so beautiful a combination in the Kaipara district.

For the sportsman fishing and shooting abound. Launching, boating, yachting etc., may be indulged in at will. Sea bathing is adjacent to almost any part. The climate is excellent, t the Tainy season is from April to August, and the rest of the year, except for. occasional showers, is on the dry side. The access by rail to Ranganui, and thence by launch, is in itself a pleasure trip. The alternative route to Helensville by rail, and then by river steamer, is full of charm.

The views from the Komiti Estate are magnificent. Th9> orchards.^ now increasing rapidly in area and divided by shelter belts, the seashore, the waters of the many bays, form a view ever interesting and attractive. Up and down the waters pass busy little launches., river steamers, sailing boats, large, ships at less frequent intervals calling for kauri timber—a sight of unquestionable beauty.
