The following cablegram has been .sent to the head office of the Waihi Gold .Mining Company, London: " No. 11 Level, Edward Lode—At 350 ft, south of the Sprat- crosscut, the lode is 27|ft wide, of a value of 3s 3d a ton. Empire Lode, South Section—East of the Bath crosscut, 34ft has been driven; 260 ft to 294 ft, value 29s 6d a ton. Royal LodeIntersected the Princess crosscut; last 3Jft, 10ft to 13-Ut, value 9s a ton. Driving west on the lode, 20ft has been driven; 10ft to 20ft, value 13s 3d a ton."
